Santiago Lambre wins it all at Caledon Equestrian Park

There was nothing left for Santiago Lambre (BRA) to win on Friday after he swept both FEI competitions during Major League Show Jumping's debut at Caledon Equestrian Park. In the feature class, a CSi5* win came in the $75,000 Cabana Coast 1.50m for Lambre and Easy Girl (10yo OS mare by Conthargos x Nintender owned by Mario Onate).

Four hundredths of a second separated him from runner-up Kristen Vanderveen (USA) and Bull Run's Risen. Israel's Daniel Bluman rounded out the podium riding Ladriano Z.

Earlier in the day, Lambre scored victory in the $37,000 Champion Shavings CSI2* Grand Prix Qualifier riding Dingeman (13yo KWPN gelding by Nintender x Darnels owned by Aurora Rangel de Alba).

Major League Show Jumping continues with the $200,000 MLSJ Team Competition on Saturday afternoon at 4pm ET at Caledon Equestrian Park, home of the 2015 Pan American Games in Palgrave, ON.
