At the start of the CSI5* 1.45m in Paris more than a few well-known names in the international jumping sport. From this strong field of participants, not one but two combinations took the win. Both Tobias Meyer and Edwina Tops-Alexander they set the fastest clear course.
In this competition held over two phases, 30 out of the 44 combinations started were able to keep a clean sheet in the first phase. Eventually, just like in Rotterdam, another ex-aequo win happened. Tobias Meyer on Quintus-H (Frh Quaid) needed to share his win with Edwina Tops-Alexander and the Casall mare, Catenda, as they both passed the finish line in exactly 26.28 seconds.
Just 00.06 sec slower, Ingrid Gjelsten took the third place on the back of Alibi de la Roque (Mylord Carthago). Jessica Springsteen came in fourth with Hungry Heart (Baltimore 1178), followed by Eoin McMahon on Chacon (Chacco-Blue).
