Unbelievable jump-off in FEI World Cup leg of Bordeaux: Guerdat wins, Deusser & Bruynseels follow

After a lightning-fast round of Steve Guerdat in this jump-off of the FEI World Cup leg 1,65m of Bordeaux, the pressure was immense for Daniel Deusser and Niels Bruynseels.

Steve Guerdat was able to beat the previous leading rider, Pieter Devos, in 30,82 seconds with Victorio des Frotards (Barbarian). A time that turned out to be impossible to beat. Daniel Deusser picked up the gauntlet with Jasmien v. Bisschop (Larino). They crossed the finish line in 31,59 seconds and pushed Pieter Devos with Apart (Larino) to the third place. 

Niels Bruynseels (BEL) was the last to go. He counted on twelve-year-old Illusionata van 't Meulenhof (Lord Z). She finished in 31,71 seconds and took over the third position from Apart. The fifth place went to home rider Roger Yves Bost with Sangria du Coty (Quaprice Bois Margot), who finished in 32,96 seconds with a roaring cheer from the home crowd.
