Max Kühner follows his lead with a time of 38.54 in the saddle of Alfa Jordan (by Air Jordan). Bryan Balsiger and Jenkins ter Doorn (by Numero Uno) come in third with a time of 38.95, keeping the bronze medal home in Switzerland.
French rider Simon Delestre finishes aboard Qopilot Batilly Z (by Qlassic Bois Margot) fourth with a time of 39.09. Alberto Zorzi and his Vauban du Trio (by Nervoso) complete the top five, finishing in 39.47.
Bart Bles, for the Netherlands, and Kriskras DV (by Cooper van de Heffinck) keep a clean sheet and are therefor the sixth combination in the jump-off. They finish with a time of 40.90.
Swedish Douglas Lindelöw and Casquo Blue (by Chacco-Blue) put down a very fast time of 37.44 but they drop a fence and rank seventh. It's Audrey Geiser with Holiday X (by Liandero) who gifts Switzerland the second top ten-place by finishing eight.
