Wilm Vermeir delivers second Belgian win of the weekend in Verona

Our Belgians are in top form in the Italian Verona. Yesterday Olivier Philipaerts already jumped to victory in the 1.50m, and now Wilm Vermeir adds to that.

His IQ van het Steentje jumped clear in the separate jump-off in a time of 34.01 seconds. Pieter Devos with Kannabis van de Bucxtale almost completed the Belgian party but had to allow Mark McAuley with Miebello to pass. The Flyinge Quite Easy descendant knocked off at 34.39 seconds and was thus three hundredths of a second faster than the Belgian combination.

The rest of the top five was completely French with Kevin Staut and Tolede de Mescam Harcour in fourth and Simon Delestre with Tinka's Hero Z in fifth.
