Wilm Vermeir is a second faster in Christmas Tree Stakes Londen 1,50m

The 1,50m-high Christmas Tree Stakes of Londen were just won by the last starter in the jump-off: Belgian rider Wilm Vermeir with King Kong d'Avifauna (Beaulieu's Think Big).

Holly Smith could practically feel the home victory while being in the lead with 33,82 seconds in this jump-off. With Denver (Memphis), she beat the German show jumping legend Christian Ahlmann with Zampano Z (Zandor Z). They finished in 34,07 seconds. 

But that was before Wilm Vermeir entered the ring. Him and King Kong improved Smith's time by a second: 32,83 seconds. Ben Maher sent Ginger-Blue (Plot Blue) to a clear fourth place in 38,13 seconds, Marcus Ehning and Comme Il Faut (Cornet Obolensky) finished fifth.
