Wilm Vermeir races to the win in CS4*-W 1.50m class at the Al Shira'aa International Horse Show

At the Al Shira'aa International Horse Show in Abu Dhabi, the CSI4*-W 1.50m Longines Ranking class came to a thrilling end. Eight combinations managed to qualify for the jump-off. In the end, it was Belgian rider Wilm Vermeir who proved to be the strongest in today and remained in first place!

In the saddle of the Joyride S (by Toulon) Wilm Vermeir rode in a lightning fast time of 33.61 seconds to victory in this 1.50m class tonight. Wilm Vemeir felt Jur Vrieling's breath in his neck as he was well on his way to the first place. However, it was not meant to be today for the Dutch rider as he came in second with Long John Silver 3 (by Lasino). The pair crossed the finish line in 35.48 seconds. William Funnel and Equine America Billy Picador (by Billy Mexico) ended their day in Abu Dhabi with a third place and recorded a time of 35.81 seconds.

Shane Breen (Vistogrand) secured fourth place. In fifth followed Amre Hamcho (Vagabon des Forets).
