The closing class of the Pan American Games was a beautiful 1,60m with 32 contestants this Friday. The winner was Brazil's Marlon Modolo Zanotelli with Sirene de la Motte (Apache d'Adriers).

QUICK RESULT

1. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli - Sirene de la Motte
2. José Maria Larocca - Finn Lente
3. Elizabeth Madden - Breitling LS

Zanotelli won in 62,24 seconds, the only one to go double clear. Argentian rider José Maria Larocca and Finn Lente (Gaillard de la Pomme) finished second with one penalty in the second round with a time of 67,05 seconds. The American rider Elizabeth Madden took the third spot with Breitling LS (Quintero).

Nicole Walker finished fourth for Canada, Eve Jobs closed the top five.

"Going into the second round, I just tried to keep myself calm, because I knew if I gave my mare a good chance, she was going to jump a clear round," Marlon Modolo said. "I had to keep my nerves in place. For me, I was in a good position. First clear puts pressure on the others."
