The Dutch Olympic Horse Foundation has secured two talented horses, ensuring their presence for TeamNL until the Olympic Games in Paris. These horses are Highway TN, the showjumping horse that Willem Greve has been so successful with, and the dressage horse Torveslettens Titanium RS2, showcased by Marieke van der Putten.
During the European Championships in Milan last summer, Highway TN N.O.P. and Willem Greve were the best Dutch combination, securing an impressive top-ten placement. The combination had rightfully earned their spot in the European Championships after winning the Grand Prix in Rotterdam and delivering a strong performance in multiple Longines FEI Nations Cups. In 2022, the Greve-Highway TN N.O.P. pair became Dutch champions.
Torveslettens Titanium RS2 N.O.P. and Marieke van der Putten had a strong year in 2022, contributing to TeamNL's fifth-place finish at the World Championships in Herning. In 2023, the pair participated in the World Cup Final in Omaha, USA. Unfortunately, the elegant gelding experienced colic after the first round and had to undergo surgery in the United States. Fortunately, the recovery went extremely well, and the combination recently achieved impressive scores in the Grand Prix, demonstrating their full comeback.
