France’s Pauline Basquin produced a standout performance to claim the Freestyle to Music at the CDI4* Bordeaux, delivering a score of 80.465% with the seasoned stallion Sertorius de Rima Z IFCE. The combination left no doubt about the outcome, building a comfortable margin over the rest of the field.
Basquin’s test was marked by fluency, balance and a clear sense of partnership, combining technical accuracy with expressive choreography. The artistic impression proved decisive, with judges awarding particularly strong marks in this section, several climbing well into the high eighties.
Portugal’s Maria Caetano secured second place aboard Hit Plus, earning 77.530% after a composed and elegant freestyle that was rewarded consistently across the panel.
The podium was completed by Brazil’s João Victor Marcari Oliva, who guided Feel Good VO NRW to a final score of 76.900%.
