Victory for Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida and Pegasus Cekanane in CSI5*-W 1.50m Prix France Info France Bleu of Bordeaux

The last day of Jumping International de Bordeaux opened with the CSI5*-W 1.50m Prix France Info France Bleu which also counted for the Longines Ranking. The victory went to the Portuguese rider Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida and the 12-year-old Pegasus Cekanane (Kannan). 

The podium remained entirely French for the home crowd, with Roger Yves Bost (FRA) securing the second place riding Urane (Miami de Semilly), and Julien Gonin (FRA) taking the third spot with Estrella de La Batia (Diamant de Semilly). For There Søhol Henriksen (NOR) aboard of Iron Maiden (Quasimodo vd Molendreef) the fourth place was noted followed by Robin Muhr (ISR) and Stawita PS (Stakkatol).


Harrie Smolders rode Springfield 21. The 11-year-old stallion by Stakkato Gold recently joined the team of the Dutch show jumper and made their debut in Amsterdam. Their participation in Bordeaux led to an eighth-place finish in the competition.
