Visitors and buyers came in large numbers to Elevage de Riverland this past Saturday, 22 August and they were also very much present online on the-best-horses.com to discover and participate in the very first sale of Elevage de Riverland, which was organized in partnership with The Best Horses: the Exclusive Riverland Auction.


The fabulous organization of this memorable day is to be credited to the owner of the equestrian infrastructure : Mickaël Varliaud and all his teams, as well as Marie-Line Balsan, founder and auctioneer of The Best Horses, who presented a collection of 60 exceptional lots. «This is an exceptional first edition, with both our audience and Internet users fully engaged in this event. We saw some epic battles for some of our lots, and also received many positive feedbacks from all involved. This is an excellent outcome which shows considerable promise ! BALSAN ENCHÈRES IS GAINING TRACTION IN THE ORGANIZATION OF SPORT HORSE AUCTIONS!

With over 8 years of experience as the head of Balsan Enchères, Mrs Marie-Line Balsan (who is also a rider) created The Best Horses, her own subsidiary, in 2020. She organizes horse auctions on sales sites but also live through the Internet.The Best Horses was created to give buyers an opportunity to buy directly from breeders, without any intermediaries, but also to promote various horse farms and stud-books. The Best Horses collaborates with the industry’s most successful breeding professionals to offer, with each single sale, a selection of promising equines for the international circuit. It draws upon the experience gained by its founders and is meant to reach new markets. Its primary objective is to connect the players in the equestrian community : breeders / sellers / buyers, while experts help each rider choose his next horse. The Best Horses aims to reach a global audience in order to connect stakeholders from different countries, therefore expanding the scope of their sales.
