Rainy Grand Prix victory for Hendrickx in Bornival

The final Grand Prix of the CSI2 * competition has just been jumped in Bornival. The riders were presented with a tough basic course: only eight of the 49 starting combinations were able to jump a clear first round and qualified for the jump-off. The time allowed in the basic course caused problems for several riders: as many as nine combinations left all the bars untouched, but got one point for time behind their names.

In the jump-off the victory remained in Belgian hands: Dominique Hendrickx rode Vintadge de La Roque (by Kannan) clear through the jump-off and finished in 33.35 seconds. With this he was more than two seconds faster than Constant van Paesschen who finished in second place with Verdi Treize (by Diamant de Semilly). They kept the zero on the scoreboard and finished in 35.46 seconds. Abdelkebir Oueddar and Istanbull vh Ooievaarshof (by Casall) finished in third place after a clear jump-off in 36.80 seconds.

Arnaud Doem (Hocus Pocus de Messitert) and Charlotte Bettendorf (Nababette Z) finished in fourth and fifth place.
