Nina Mallevaey grabs CSI5* victory in Valkenswaard

Later today the Grand Prix is still on the programme in Valkenswaard but just now the CSI5* riders came into action for a first time. It was a 1m45 class ridden in two phases. The victory came in French hands: Nina Mallevaey. She rode Mademoiselle-A, an 11-year-old BWP horse, clear through the second phase in 23.27 seconds.

Hans-Dieter Dreher and Vestmalle des Cotis (by Baloubet du Rouet) took home second place. They did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 23.27 seconds. Laura Klaphake and Cortes (by Chacco-Blue) were allowed to sit on the third podium step. The duo was able to keep the clear and clocked off in 25.14 seconds. 

Frank Schuttert (Isis) and Eoin McMahon (Chrristians Carado) finished in places four and five. They jumped clear rounds in 25.2 and 25.46 seconds respectively.
