We don't want to write down a new fragment of the bible, but horses are hard work and we humans need some guidelines from time to time. Therefor we present the 10 Equestrian Commandments (by ...) 1.: Decide what your commitment is to the sport, the horse and its life. Train and life inside your commitment and live by it. 2.: Accept to make mistakes. Every 'mistake' (or action) you make generates experience. 3.: Accept you can learn from everybody. Stay open for advice, input and other opinions. Just like humans horses aren't a fixed science. Different people learn to read different horses. 4.: Don't think to much. Be intelligent yes, but don't overdo it. Let your instincts guide your actions. Allow yourself to live in the 'moment'. 5.: Live your dream or chase it. Let no one stand in your way. 6.: As annoying, sweet, powerful, etc. they might be... respect every horse that crosses your path. 7.: Listen and accept your horse might know better. Communicate with your horse. 8.: Work to reach your goal, but don't judge your work by comparing it to that of others. 9.: Treat your horse like you want to be treated.
