Andres Azcarraga claimed victory in the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix in Valkenswaard, riding Contendros 2. Harrie Smolders secured the silver in the 1.55m Grand Prix aboard Mr. Tac after winning the Grand Prix qualifier earlier this week. Denis Lynch completed the top 3 with Cordial.
The highlight of the weekend in Valkenswaard, the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix, delivered excitement right up to the very end. Andres Azcarraga claimed the win aboard Contendros 2 (Contendro I). Harrie Smolders finished in second place with Mr. Tac (Non Stop), just five hundredths of a second behind the gold. The bronze went to Denis Lynch riding Cordial (Casall), with a margin of three-tenths of a second behind Smolders.
Giampiero Garofalo narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth with Querido van 't Ruytershof (Mosito van het Hellehof). Linda Bratomi and Happiness (Phin-Phin) completed the top five of this Grand Prix.
