The RDS Dublin Horse Show adds Rolex as the official timepiece and Grand Prix Sponsor of their upcoming event. The Rolex Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, August 18th, in the RDS Main Arena where a record prize fund of €500,000 will be what the battle is for.
The Grand Prix of Dublin originates from 1934 and has a rich history of winners. On the honorary list are names such as Eddie Macken, John and Michael Whitaker, Nick Skelton, Jessica Kuerten, Lauren Hough, Cian O'Connor, Bertram Allen, Kent Farrington and Shane Breen.
Show Director, Pat Hanly said: "As the 100th anniversary of International team jumping at Dublin approaches in 2026, the RDS is looking to the future of the Show and to the role the Society will play on the future of equestrianism."
"The RDS is committed to growing its show and the sport, by bringing the best riders in the world and top-level international competition, to Ireland. Working with committed, like-minded and high-level sponsors such as Rolex is fundamental in achieving this", he added.
The Dublin Horse Show joins the A-list of events alongside Royal Windsor Horse Show, Knokke Hippique, Stephex Brussels Masters, Jumping International de Dinard and many more but also the Grand Slam events in Aachen, Spruce Meadows, Geneva and Den Bosch are part of the Rolex community. As the Nations Cup Series, now the Longines League of Nations, no longer passes by in Dublin, the show secured its future by welcoming Rolex as one of the sponsors.
