The partnership of Helen Langehananberg and Damon Hill NRW has finally come to an end. The 15 year old stallion ( x Donnerhall) is still owned by the Beck family and is temporarily not for sale. Andreas Kleefisch, the Beck's family lawyer, has stated : " After the successful collaboration between Langehananberg and Damon Hill there were negotiations to extend the collaboration until the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. These ultimately failed." Even during the World Equestrian Games in Normandy, rumours had surfaced that the Gold and Silver medalist Damon Hill would be sold. Those rumours were denied but it soon became clear that negotiations between the Beck family and Stal Langehananberg did not go smoothly. Helen and Damon hill have become one of Germany's most successful dressage combinations. In 2012 they became German champions. In 2013 they won the World Cup Final and this year they became individual silver medalists and team World Champions at the WEG. Damon Hill is no longer stabled at Stal Langehananberg and it is still unknown as to who will be his next rider. Photo : H.
