According to Pius Schwizer's official Facebook page, he will no longer compete the 8 year old Selle Français mare Sixtine de Vains ( x Calvaro). Owned by Max Hauri, the mare will now be competed by British rider Ben Maher. The mare will be a valuable addition to Maher's string after the sale of Tripple X and the career ending injury if Urico. Pius Schwizer stated "I regret the sale of the horse. With Sixtine I had a lot of success and she had a promising future. But I have to look forward and hopefully fill that void in my string quickly". As a result of the sale, Pius has withdrawn from the LGCT final in Doha, Qatar this weekend.
