Glenn Maes was re-elected, January 24, as chairman of the Jumping Officials Club. The election took place during the Jumping event in Amsterdam. "I look forward to the next three years," says Maes, who is also the chairman of the Flemish federation, Paardensport Vlaanderen.
"I am pleased with this re-election," Maes continues. "I am especially looking forward to working with other stakeholders, such as riders and organizers, to make the sport future-proof."
"Together, we must tackle the challenges of the future so we can continue to enjoy our sport, which is unique because of the special bond between humans and horses."
