Gregory Wathelet made a splash on American soil in recent weeks, earning multiple accolades with his homebred Argentina de la Marchette and Ace of Hearts. However, the Belgian rider’s success was dampened last weekend by a fall that abruptly ended the celebrations.
On Sunday, Wathelet fell and broke his collarbone, sidelining him for 3 to 4 weeks. Fortunately, the horse was unharmed in the incident.
"I still hope to compete in the World Cup Final in Basel," Wathelet shared. "This was a real goal for me this year!"
