Global Champions Tour strengthens future as Longines extends partnership to 2032

During a press moment in Prague, it became clear that the Global Champions Tour has secured one of its key pillars for the future. Longines, the longstanding Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the circuit, is extending its collaboration by seven years and will remain involved until at least 2032.
A representative of the organisation spoke with conviction about the impact of the renewed partnership, referring to the many years of cooperation and the privilege of having Longines as a constant partner. The international showjumping world, he noted, directly benefits from the stability and technical expertise that Longines brings. “We have had the privilege of working with Longines for many years, and not only we, but the entire world benefits from their support and the growth we have experienced together,” he said.
The new agreement brings the total duration of the partnership to more than two decades. “With another seven years added, we are moving toward over twenty years together. We have already achieved great things in the past, but we will be able to accomplish even more in the future. Without Longines, we would never have reached this level.”
The extension fits seamlessly within Longines’ long-standing tradition in equestrian sport, a history that dates back to 1878. That year, the brand introduced a chronograph engraved with a jockey, an instrument that quickly became popular on racetracks. Throughout the twentieth century, Longines built a reputation as a reliable timekeeper across various disciplines, and in 1912 the company became involved in international jumping for the first time. That legacy continues today: Longines is active in showjumping, eventing, and flat racing and enjoys worldwide recognition thanks to its technical expertise and elegant timepieces.
