During the thrilling CSIO5* Grand Prix in La Baule this afternoon, it was a French victory for Patrice Delaveau and Aquila HDC (Ovidius). Being the fastest out of three pairs to go clear in the jump-off, they won in 38,58 seconds. Kent Farrington and Gazelle (Kashmir van Schuttershof) followed in second place for the US in 39,28 seconds while Belgium's Gudrun Patteet jumped Sea Coast Just The Music (Tornedo FCS) to the bronze spot in 39,7 seconds. Shane Sweetnam claimed the fourth place for Ireland with Chaqui Z (Chacco Blue) in 39,07 seconds with four penalties. Thierry Rozier finished the top five the way it started; for France.
