At the second week of the Winter Equestrian Festival, former Olympic Champion, Eric Lamaze, keeps his winning streak. Also this week the Canadian placed first in the $34,000 Ruby et Violette, this time with Rosana du Park (by Kannan). A total of 12 horse-rider combinations placed for the Jump-Off. Previous week the pair already won the WEF Callenge CUP. Calgary's GP -winner and Lamaze's compatriot, Ian Miller, placed second with the 12-years-old Belgian Warmbred Dixson (by Vigo d'Arsouilles). Kent Farrington and Waomi (by Lupicor) completed the stage with a 3rd place. This pair did win two classes in Lexington last October. The top five was completed by Laura Chapot (Ishd Dual Star, by Quick Star) and Ward Mclain (HH Cannavaro, by Caplan).
