A Clean Sweep For Nick Dello Joio in the Young Horse Divisions at SRJT International CSI 2*

Nick Dello Joio was unbeatable in the Animo Young Horse divisions at the Split Rock Jumping Tour's Columbus International CSI 2*, held at the Brave Horse Show Park.   Dello Joio and his mounts won every class in every age group.

SHL Spectre, a grey Oldenburg mare by Conthargos, won the $1,500 Animo 7-Year-Old Final as well as the class earlier in the week.  Dello Joio piloted the mare, owned by Sarah Ryan, around the track without penalty to claim victory.
"I have only been riding her since May," said Dello Joio after his win.  "She is really quick across the top of the jump, but her stride doesn't match up to the others.  Now that I have been on her for a few months I can play to her strengths, so we went for it.  I made some good turns out there and we were able to shave a few seconds off our time."
Dello Joio returned to the ring with Catania 137, a 6-year-old Westphalian mare also owned by Ryan, and took the blue ribbon in the $1,000 Animo 5/6 Year Old Jumper Final.  Catinia 137 both of the young horse classes in her age group as well, to sweep the division.
