Abdel Saïd takes a strong start in Gelderland

Said Abdel - CasperYesterday the first day of the international showjumping program in Arnhem concluded with a 1m50 -competition. Aboard the 11-year-old Belgian Warmbred Sire, Casper (Nabab de Reve x Codex) it was Abdel Saïd who took home the victory after a clear round in 59:68 seconds. The Belgian Young Rider and winner of the Calgary GP in 2012, Olivier Philippaerts, followed in a second place with the 12-year-old mare Chamonix H (Equest Carnute x Caletto I). Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and Quartz 7 (Quality Touch Z x Zandigo) ended in the third position after a clear finish in 61:81 seconds. The top five was completed by the Dutch show jumper Vincent Voorn and Clintash (Clinton x Cash) followed by Jan Sprehe and Areno (Argentinus x Grannus). From the 60 starters 21 pairs left the wood untouched within the time limit.
