The current number 40 on the world ranking, Abdullah Alsharbatly speeded to victory aboard his own Tobalio. After the two first rounds only five combinations proceeded to the final jump-off. Edwina Tops Alexander was the first to enter with her 11-years-old Caretina de Joter (by Caretino). Edwina already won the first LGCT Grand Prix of the season in Miami. This time she finished clear in 43.45 seconds. Dutch Marc Houtzager and the 9-year-old Sterrehof's Calimero (by Quidam de Revel) was the next to go in, chopping of some of Edwina's time finishing in 43.26 seconds, eventually good for the third place.
