Alain Jufer leaves Harrie Smolders in the dust

At the CSI Basel in in Switzerland it was home rider Alain Jufer who took the victory with his twelve year old mare Samira (by Baloubino B) in the 1m40 five star competition. The combination cleared the field in 53.70 seconds. In second place it was Dutch rider Harrie Smolders who followed suit on his Dutch Warmblood mare Corrada (by Oklund) with whom he finished in 55.06 seconds. Completing the top three we find in third place Italy's Luca Maria Moneta with Ambra (by Quintender) in 55.17 seconds. The top five was completed by Bronislav Chudyba and his Quinsy in fourth place with 56.01 seconds, followed by a fifth place from Aldrick Cheronnet and Uris de la Roque who stopped the clock a 56.38 seconds.
