Alberto Zorzi speeds to glory at Oslo Horse Show

In today's 1.50 worldcup CSI5* class at the Oslo Horse Show a total of twelve combinations qualified for the Jump-Off. Eight of the twelve starts produced a clear finish in the shortened track. Eventually it was Italy's Alberto Zorzi who speeded to victory aboard Alessio Lucia's Ulane de Coquerie (L'Arc de Triomphe). Jan Tops' rider stopped the timer at 39.08 seconds. Former Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat settled for runner-up after a clear finish in 39.34 seconds with the 10-year-old SF-mare, Ulysse des Forets (Col Canto). Earlier today Maikel van der Vleuten jumped to victory in the 1.45m class. In the 1.50m main class van der Vleuten jumped to third place with Dana blue (Mr Blue) under the saddle. The pair was followed by Ireland's Darragh Kenny (Cassini Z, f. Cassini II) in fourth and Belgium's Pieter Devos (Julyssi van Orti, f. Cicero Z) in fifth. results
