ALRAJHI takes home the 3* Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi

Saudi Arabian rider Abdulrahman Alrajhi won the CSI3* Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi aboard Chilli Pepper van de Helle (Cumano x Nana van de Helle) in true style. The Grand Prix also served as the World Cup Qualifier, which will no doubt see Alrajhi go straight to the top of the standings of the Arab League. Alrajhi was just under two seconds faster than runner up Vladimir Tuganov (RUS) and the mare Sinfonie 168 (Satisfaction I x Dunja), but in the end it was fast enough to take the win and AED99,000 in prize money. French rider Frédéric David took third place with Equador van't Roosakker (Nabab de Reve x Usha van't Roosakker), stopping the clock just over three seconds slower than the winners time. Italian rider Andre Sakakini and Syrian rider Ahmad Saber Hamcho took fourth and fifth place respectively. FULL RESULTS   Photo : Chilli Pepper van de Helle
