Amazing win for Ben Maher at the Longines GCT Grand Prix of Saint Tropez

The Longines GCT Grand Prix of Saint Tropez just came to an end. Seven combinations managed to qualify for the 1.50m jump-off and the ranks kept changing until the very end. It was Ben Maher who took home the victory, together with his Winning Good (Winningmood vd Arenberg) he put in the fastest clear round. With the only nine year old he stopped the chrono in 37,44 seconds. Leaving Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo with Admara 2 (Padinus) just one second behind. Edwina Tops Alexander took the third podium spot with her eleven year old L'Esprit mare California. They finished the course in 38,78 seconds. Peder Fredericson was the first to start the jump off and put in a clear round, however, the time put them back to the fourth rank. It looked like the young Olivier Philippaerts was on his way to victory with his Legend of Love (Landzauber). He had the fastest time (36,10 seconds) but they had a pole down at the last fence, referring them back to the fifth rank. Click here for the results.
