In Barcelona the competition has officially started with the 'Coca Cola Trophy'. A total of 90 horse-rider combinations took the start in this 1.45m speed class. In the end it was Andres Rodriguez who claimed victory. Aboard the 13-year-old Caballito (by Contendro) he finished the clock in 53.44 seconds. Taking home the 8,085 Euro first win. Italian Emanuele Gaudiano followed in a second place after a ride in 53.75 seconds. Gaudiano and the 12-year-old Cocoshynsky (by Cornet Obolensky) were followed by Nicolas Delmotte and Darmi van 't Heike (by Grandeur). The top five was completed by Laura Renwicj with Heliodor Hybris (by Diamant de Semilly) and Andres' compatriot Emanuel Andrade (Bonjovi, by Verdi).
