Not only the faults did count but also the time was an important issue to battle. Only one team finished with an ultimate score. Finish Anna-Julia Kontio and Swiss Romain Duguet were the only ones to make a perfect round. Both were riding their Selle Français horses. Anna-Julia aboard her Diamant de Semilly-son Pacific des Essarts and Duguet together with Twentytoo des Biches (byMylord Carthago*HN SF). Lucy Davis tacked-up Old Oak Farm's Barron (by For Pleasure). Davis teamed up with Kevin Staut and his 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood Elky van het Indihof*HDC (by Toulon). Davis jumped one rail down along the way, while Staut kept it clear. The total of four points and the fastest team-time (76.22 seconds) placed them as runner-up. The stage was completed by team Renwick/Deusser. The 12-year-old Bintang II (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) performed a double clear round under the saddle of British Laura Renwick. Deusser and Hidalgo V (by Quadrillo) jumped one rail down in the first round. The team placed third. Alos finishing with a total of four points were Malin Bayard-Johnsson and World Champion, Jeroen Dubbeldam and team Mendoza/'Bosty'. The teams finished in fourth and fifth place.
