Annabel Shields beats mainland guys in Roosendaal

During the last class at the CSI in Roosendaal is was Annabel Shields who stayed ahead of Dutch Glenn Knoester and Victor Bettendorf from Luxembourg. Aboard Carnoneybridge Challenger she was without a doubt the fastest rider of the evening in the 1.40m class. Beating the two "mainlanders" hands down. With the Irish Sports Horse gelding by Gemes de Reve she produced a smashing clear round in 52.99 seconds. Leaving some space between Knoester and his KWPN gelding Glint Easter (by Clinton) who finished the course in 53.64 seconds. Riding his mare Colchigue du Gibet (by Chacco Blue) Bettendorf did not even come close to the times set by the number one and two. The rider from Luxembourg cleared the course in 54.76 seconds. The top five was completed by Swede Niclas Palmer riding the Dutch bred VDL Groep Ernest (v. Diamant de Semilly)  and Belgian rider Pieter Kenis who rode the BWP mare Hera D'Hessy (v. Chatman) to fifth place in 55.54 seconds. Go here to see all results.
