Another Whitaker-win at the Sunshine Tour

British rider Joe Whitaker secured another victory for his famous family at the Sunshine Tour on Friday, when taking the win in the CSI4* 1.50m Big Tour D presented by Cruzcampo. The jump-off was very fast and counted 14 riders, with Whitaker riding the 11-year-old Locarno 62-mare Lola V to snatch the win as the penultimate rider to go pushing Team Ukraine's Zipper (Apple Juice x Concorde) with Ferenc Szentirmai in the saddle down to runner-up position when shaving off almost a second on their time. Czech rider Emma Augier de Moussac also rode a very neat and fast round on her mount Kanonja (Kannan x Baloubet du Rouet) to finish third. The twelve top placed riders in this class have now qualified for the Invitational Grand Prix that will be held on Sunday. This is the climax of the Sunshine Tour with prize money of 100.000 Euro.
