Antares rider tops the Grand Prix in Lons Le Saunier

Belgium's Antares-rider, Constant van Paesschen won Sunday's CSI3* Grand Prix in Lons Le Saunier on Diamanthina van't Ruytershof (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago). The 1.60 competition at the French event saw only three riders going double clear, with Constant being the fastest in the jump-off with a time of 39.36 seconds. Runner-up was Sweden's Petronella Andersson on Uchin Imperio Egipcio (Chin Chin x Vondel van het Hendrixhof), stopping the clock at 40.21 seconds. Third place went to Ireland's Niall Talbot on Nicos de la Cense (Eyken des Fontenis x Le Tot de Semilly) with a time of 42.01 in the jump-off. Then followed two home riders in fourth and fifth; Erwan Auffret ADC and Thomas Leveque but with four and twelve faults apiece in the jump-off. Constant was in top form in Lons Le Saunier, also winning Saturday's 1.50 ranking class on the same mare.
