More than 400 horses are taking the start at the first CSI3* in the Azelhof, Lier, Belgium. This morning a total of 64 horse-rider combinations took the start in the 'Price Equnews'. It was Anthony Wellens and the 8-years-old Saros van't Gestelhof-faughter, Havanna Van Strijtem, who took the victory. Setting the time in 25.61 second, the pair was followed by Belgium's Sven Van Dijck and Capiche Ter Elzen. Third place was for Koen Vereecke and Horst van de Mispelaere. The top five was completed by Patrik Spits (Donckervoort DH) and Ann Carton Grootjans (Iluna). After the competition Wellens stated to be surprised with the win. "Havanna has been out of competition for a while. After a period of two months I'm happy to be back with her." The class was set at a height of 1.30m.
