Antwerp Diamonds win first European Global Champions League

At the Global Champions Tour of Antwerp, one more class was scheduled. A class where everyone was looking forward to: the Global Champions League. This league knew its European debut here in Antwerp. In the team competition 12 teams had to ride a first round, after that the 8 best teams were selected to ride the second round which was ridden against the clock. None of the teams managed to jumped two double clears, so the time at to decide who would be crowned as winner. Eventually, the Euro Horse riders Jos Verlooy and Audrey Coulter won as the Antwerp Diamonds. Coulter and Domino hit a fence in the second round, but Jos Verlooy and Caracas made up for that. In total, they finished in 111,77 seconds and won the third leg of the Global Champions League. The second place was for the Valkenswaard United team. Bertram Allen and Molly Malone made a little mistake in the first round, which resulted in 4 faults. Luckily there were Michael Whitaker Ornellaia to save the teams face. Their team time was 112,37 seconds. On third spot we find the Monaco Aces. Riley Schuyler jumped two clear rounds with Dobra de Porceyo. Her team mate Daniel Bluman got one fault in the second round with Conconcreto Apardi. Schuyler and Bluman got a teamtotal of 119,63 seconds, this performance was awarded with a third place. The fast Brazilian rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli was one of the last riders to ride the second ride. If I jumped a clear round, his team would win the competition. Because of that, I jumped an easy round but at the end of the course Rock'N Roll Semilly hit a fence. Eventually the Rome Gladiators ended on fourth place. His team mate Laura Crowd did jump two clear round with Cedric, but that couldn't change their result anymore. The combinations of Madrid in Motion took the fifth place. Pedro Veniss and Qabri d'Isle jumped two clear round. Athina Onassis-de-Miranda got one time penalty in the first round and a fence down in the second round which got the team result at 5 penalties.
