Bart Bles tops the Groninger Grand Prix in the Netherlands

In one of the most nothern towns in the Netherlands the new year started with a showjumping competition in the CSI2*. In yesterday's Grand Prix it was Dutch rider Bart Bles who claimed victory aboard Niels Bruynseels former ride Israel vd Dennehoeve. This Thunder vd Zuuthoeve son was good for 36.09 seconds jumping the fastest clear round in the eight combination strong jump-off.

Bles dove under the time of Glock's rider Gerco Schröder who aboard his Glock's Dobolensky (by Cornet Obolensky) completed in 38.05 seconds taking home the second place. Dutch rider Sabrina van Rijswijk followed in third place aboard Everest W (by Zapatero-W) with whom she completed in 38.55 seconds. Jur Vrieling was then the last rider to keep it clear aboard his KM Chalcedon taking home the fourth place. Completing the top five we found Irish rider Michael G Duffy aboard is Escoffief in fifth place with the fastest time of 36.04 second and 4 penalties.   Results
