Beezie Madden on top in Aachen's STAWAG Prize

Yesterday it was Eric Lamaze who claimed the victory in the Aachen Soers during the STAWAG Prize, today it was the USA who coloured the win. Beezie Madden and her trusted 11-year-old Quintero-son, Breitling LS speeded to victory. Madden and her stallion stopped the clock in 66.01 seconds. Just not three seconds faster as home-rider, Felix Hassmann and Balzaci (by Balou du Rouet). Hassmann finished clear in 68.59 seconds. Madden's fellow USA-rider, Laura Kraut earlier this week already claimed a prize, today she added the third place to her string of classifications. In the saddle of the 14-year-old KWPN-mare, Whitney (by Indoctro), Kraut stopped the clock in 69.86 seconds. The course was build difficult and the time set sharp as many riders finished with time faults. A total of 14 pairs made a clear finish. Former Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat placed fourth with his Ulysse des Forets (by Col Canto), while yesterday's winner of the openingclass, Eduardo Menezes jumped into the fifth place.   Click here for the results
