Belgian Junior riders claim European Gold Medal

In Fontainebleau it were the Belgian junior jumpingdevils who claimed the European Gold medal this morning. For the winning team both Thibault Philippaerts with Stal Lenssens' 9-year-old Cachas-mare, Cataleya and compatriot Alexander Housen aboard the 12-year-old BWP-gelding, Galoubbet Fravance (Caretino) made a clear finish. Compatriots, Thibeau Spits with the BWP-approved sire, Jericho Dwerse Hagen (Vertigo Saint-Benoit) and Simon Morssinkhof (Vivolta de Gree, f. Diamant de Semilly) both had to accept at least one fault underway. Great-Britain's junior team claimed the silver medal while Ireland completed the stage.   Click here for the results
