Belgian wins World Cup warm up in China

A total of 31 horse-rider combinations took the start in today’s 11:00 AM 130-140cm Club&individual competition of Longines FEI World Cup Jumping China League-2nd station, Beijing, China. There was Ha Datie from Sheerwood who set the fastest clear time with Qarea V, the pair left Wang Yunjing, aboard Leona 63, in a secong place after a finish in 75.71 seconds. Yuan Maodong(kabuji) finished third. The top five was completed by Minke Dala(Calin) and Jia Juncheng(Cartoflex). And it was Sheerwood team who took home victory of the Club competition. Although half of riders withdrew from the FEI World Cup warm up in the afternoon due to the terrible weather, there were still 8 combinations hang in there and finished the show. Belgium rider Patrik Spits beat his English counterpart Simon Buckley and took the victory. It is Patrik’s first time competing in China, and he is looking forwards to his next competition tomorrow.
