Today the Spring Tour in Lummen kicked-off with his CSI1*-classes. In the big Derby arena the 1m30-competition colored Belgian thanks to Bart Clarys' victory. On the back of his Vigo d'Arsouilles (s. nabab de rêve)-horse Uvertine vd Hacienda he took the lead from Gilles Dunon and Reece vd Keihoeve (s. Ringo D). Uvertine is a Vigo d'Arsouilles x Nabab de Rêve, a strange combination if You know that Vigo's sire was Nabab de Rêve as well. Beau Vos and Tiore (s. Numero Uno) completed the stage with their third place. Further it was Kristof Cleeren and Finn-Chin van't Goor who ended in a fifth place being the fastest one faulter in the second phase.
In the Garden arena it were the Young horses that could show off while jumping the fences on gras and sand. In total 50 5-year-old horses started, but only 26 reached the finish without making a fault. Also with the six-year-old horses it was a clear round course where about 50% of the competitors left the fences untouched.
