Today's international CSI2* Grand Prix at the Azelhof in Lier welcomed some honoured guests. HRH Prince Laurent of Belgium and his wife Claire visited the show to watch the CSI2* 1.50m Grand Prix. In the first round only six combinations produced a clear round. It was an international riderslist, but only belgian riders qualified for te jump-off. First in the ring was Alexander Kumps who tacked up Tchao de la Roque for the job. The pair concluded with five faults after a refusal at the last fence of the jump-off. Eventually the pir placed fourth. Frederik Cattebeke set the fastest clear time. Aboard Ceasar Cattebeke stopped the clock in 45.30 seconds. After leaving the arena the show jumping rider shouted "damn, not fast enough...". Marjan de Wachter and Uringa Z followed in a second place. Patrik Spits and Donckervoort DH completed the stage. Belgium's best female rider, Gudrun Patteet placed fourth with her new horse Sea Coast Coco Berlini.
