Belgium's stay on top in Knokke

In the Super Cup, the Belgian dominance continued as the day kicked off with a win for Sven Van Dijck and the 9-year-old mare Capiche 'Ter Elzen' (Bamako de Muze x Nabab de Reve) in the CSI2* 1.35m presented by Frank Thomas. With a maximum of points in this accumulator class and a time of 55.60 seconds, it was a comfortable victory for Van Dijck who had nearly four seconds down to runner-up Nina Barbour (GBR) on Calle (Chambertin x Lord Calando). Later in the day, the CSI2* 1.40m presented by Carlsberg had an American winner as Taylor Alexander produced an extremely fast jump-off aboard Ryanair de Riverland (Quick Star x Papillon Rouge). Aboard the 12-year-old stallion, Alexander crossed the finish line 2.18 seconds ahead of runners-up Thibault Philippaerts (BEL) and D Cancarra A.C (Contefino x Kashmir Van Schuttershof) and it was another 0.7 seconds down to third placed Samantha Cohen (USA) and Billy Olive (Billy Congo x Nimmerdor Pref).
