Bertram Allen jumps to glory at the Sunshine Tour

Under a bright Spanish sun, Ireland's top show jumping rider, Bertram Allen jumped to glory at the Sunshine Tour Grand Prix in Vejer de la Frontera. Aboard the 9-year-old KWPN-stallion, Dino W (by Berlin), Allen completed his Jump-Off clear in 43.46 seconds. Good for over 16,000 euro.   Allen and the grey-stallion were about one second faster as Emma Augier de Moussac with Diva. De Moussac crossed the finish in 44.43 seconds. Alix Ragot followed in a third place with the 10-year-old Thais de Pegase (by Calvaro Z). The top five was completed by Marie Longem (Algorhythem) in fourth and Alex Duffy (WCO Cruco) in fifth.   CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS In the Medium Tour Grand Prix Portugal dominated the class. Marina Frutuoso Melo and Cantano jumped to victory after a clear finish in 36.54 seconds. Frutuoso Melo's compatriot, Duarte Romao followed as a runner-up with Utopie d Bonneville under the saddle.
