A brilliant ride for Maikel van der Vleuten results in a beautiful win during the World Cup competition in Verona. In this 1m60 BMW Longines World Cup he jumped to the fastest time in the eleven combinations strong jump-off. With his VDL Groep Verdi TN (by Quidam de Revel) he finished in a time of 35.91 seconds. Staying well ahead of Italy's Alberto Zorzi who came in second place with his Belgium Warmblood Fair Light van T Heike (by Vigo d'Arsouilles) with whom he finished in 36.17 seconds. In third place it was Belgium's Pieter Devos and his Apart (by Larino) who crossed the finish line in 37.03 seconds. It was then Stephex rider Lorenzo de Luca who for Italy claimed the fourth place with his Halifax van het Kluizebos. Together with his Heartbreaker son he finished in 38.00 seconds. While Swiss rider Janika Sprunger and her Bacardi VDL finished in fifth place with 39.21 seconds on the clock. Find all results here
