Brian Moggre and Darragh Kenny shine again at the Spruce Meadows Summer Series

The North American Ring welcomed 48 horse-and-rider combinations to the ring for the first of two Friends of the Meadows Cup 1.45m competitions. Last week at the 'National' presented by Rolex, young Brian Moggre (USA) stepped into the winners circle for the first time and today he would get the opportunity to do it again.

Over the two phase competition, Moggre jumped a clear phase one and immediately proceeded to phase two where he produced a clear round with the fastest time of 26.08s aboard MTM Flutterby (C Indoctro x breeding unknown). 

The second of the two Friends of the Meadows Cup 1.45m competitions on the North American Ring brought great competition over the two phase track designed by FEI Course Designer Tom Holden (IRL). 48 horse-and-rider combinations jumped the first phase of the competition with 27 making an attempted at phase two.

Darragh Kenny (IRL) has had a great Spruce Meadows Summer Series this far with two FEI wins during the previous weeks competitions and multiple top 10 finishes. Kenny continued to perform the first day of the 'Continental' CSI5* presented by Rolex as he and Cazador LS (Casall La Silla x Dollar Dela Pierre) posted a clear round with a time of 27.79s to take first place.
