Bruggink best in Saturday's Gold Tour at Magna Racino

"It was a wonderful day at this beautiful equestrian complex. It is our first time here, and it is really super. I will try to go full speed in tomorrow's Gaston Glock's Grand Prix Magna Racino, and we will see how that goes," said a happy Gert Jan Bruggink after winning Saturday's 1.55 Gold Tour at Magna Racino on MCB Ulke (Lux x Peter Pan). The Dutch rider produced two perfect clear rounds in the Longines Ranking class, and had over two seconds down to his compatriot Johnny Pals on Vignet (Heartbreaker x Iroco) in the jump-off. Home rider Roland Englbrecht ended third with Mevisto's Poorboy (Concerto Grande x Argentinus). The 1.45 Diamond Tour was won by home rider Markus Saurugg on Zita 94 (Stakkato x Carthago).
