It was Italy's own Bruno Chimirri who kept the victory in own land aboard his Tower Mouche (by Diamant de Semilly). The combination jumped a clear round against the clock in 70.11 seconds. He stayed ahead of Belgium's Arnaud Doem and his stallion Hocus Pocus de Messitert (by Quidam de Revel) with whom he finished in 70.21 seconds. In third place it was then Brazilian rider Bernardo Alves aboard El Torreo de Muze (by Taran de la Pomme) in 71.10 seconds. Completing the top five we found in fourth place Amesthyste du Coty, followed by a fifth place for Antonio Maria Garofalo with Hope van de Horthoeve.
